    USC Alumni Baseball Team Takes on Blowfish in 6th Annual

Gates open at 6pm/Kids Can Play Catch with the Players Before Game USC Baseball Alumni Head Coach Trey Dyson announced the tentative roster for Saturday's game against the Blowfish which includes: Bryan Triplett Tyler Speer Bryon Jeffcoat Andrew Cruse Tripp Kelly Demetric Smith Tony Hanks Aaron Rawl Trey Dyson  Steve Bondurant Drew Meyer Brent Worsham In addition, Dyson has traded for Blowfish Head Coach and Former USC Gamecock 3rd Baseman Brian Buscher, and Blowfish Pitching Coach and Former USC Gamecock Pitcher Jon Coutlangus for a player to be named later. The series stands Blowfish 5 and Gamecock Alumi 1 in the b attle for the coveted "Gamefish Cup".   7:05pm Gametime/Gates open at 6pm-Kids can play catch with the Blowfish Players and  former USC Gamecock Baseball players from 6pm til 6:20pm on the field.  General Admission Tickets are $6.00 Adult and $5.00 for kids 12 & under, seniors and military with an i.d. The Columbia Blowfish are in their seventh season at Historic Capital City Stadium and are a proud member of the Coastal Plain League, the nation's hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 16th season in 2012, the CPL features 14 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chan ce to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts. Furthermore, the CPL has had over 1,000 alumni drafted and 51 alums - including 2011 AL MVP and Cy Young winner Justin Verlander - make their Major League debut thus far.
