    Blowfish Send Three Starters to All-Star Game


    The Columbia Blowfish are proud to announce that Nick Orvin (Citadel) will start for the National team, and Chase Vergason (Florida Atlantic) was voted as a starter for the American team as a part of the All-Star Game to be held next Tuesday in Forest City, N.C. Also elected to the team was Branfy Arias (Tusculum). Arias will start in the place of the injured Jay Cannon (Brunswick C.C.).

    The All-Star Game festivities will kick off next Monday, July 19th with the All-Star Fan Fest and the CPL All-Star Home Run Derby. Then the Coastal Plain League All-Stars display their skills in the 11th Annual All-Star Game next Tuesday, July 20th.
