| Blowfish President, Bill Shanahan, has confirmed that USC Head Baseball Coach Ray Tanner and his family has accepted an invitation to attend the 4th Annual USC Alumni Baseball Team vs the Columbia Blowfish at Capital City Stadium Saturday Night. Game time is 7:05pm/gates open at 6pm.
In addition, the Blowfish will be auctioning off a Gamecock jersey and cap autographed by USC Gamecock Baseball Alumni and present National Championship players to benefit the Ray Tanner Foundation.
Gates open at 6pm-Kids can play catch with the Blowfish Players and former USC Gamecock Baseball players from 6pm til 6:20pm on the field. Tickets are $6.00 Adult and $5.00 for kids 12 & under, seniors and military with an i.d.
Following the game will be a Patriotic "Concert In the Sky" as fireworks will light up The Cap!
The Homestand continues on Sunday July 4th when the Florence Red Wolves come to town to take on the Blowfish. Game time is 6:05pm. Post Game Independence Fireworks will close out the three day homestand.

The Columbia Blowfish are a member of the Coastal Plain League, the nation's hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 14th season, the Coastal Plain League features 15 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts. Furthermore, the CPL has had over 700 alumni drafted and 36 alums make their Major League debut thus far.
